| Info | This programme is designed to give you an introduction to animal care. You will be given the chance to participate in a range of activities such as:- feeding and cleaning animals
- exercising, handling and checking their health
- basic health and safety when working with animals
- in-house animals include rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rodents and exotic animals including bearded dragons and geckos
- opportunities to take part in work based placements in kennels and catteries, stables, farms, pet shops, vetinary care and rescue centres
The course can lead to a progression onto an Apprenticeship programme and/or employment in the related area. |
